Law Clerk recruitment

Our summer clerks transition into our law clerk (Graduate) positions. They transition into these roles either at the end of the summer clerkship or once they have finished their studies at university.

We aim to give our law clerks the best possible start to their career as lawyer. You will be involved in challenging, exciting and high profile work – and we will provide the support to ensure you that you develop quickly.

You will be a part of a team and have a supervising partner who will be responsible for your day-to-day work, ongoing training and professional development. You will also be allocated a buddy (usually one of the junior lawyers in the team) who can assist you in the transition to full-time work. We find that our law clerks develop fast and soon become an integral part of their teams.

On joining (or re-joining if you were a summer clerk), you will undertake our induction process to introduce you to the our office environment, systems and procedures. We also provide a broad range of internal and external training opportunities – both in technical areas of law and in softer skills (such as making presentations and business development). The firm pays for the Professionals course fees and admission fees. We are flexible in the timing of your Professionals, and we will work with you and your supervisor to get the best outcome for you.

We pay competitive market salaries and also provide a range of great benefits for our staff.

We are sure that you will enjoy starting your legal career at Anderson Lloyd.
