Anderson Lloyd Partners Named on New Zealand’s Hot List
Anderson Lloyd boasts two of the hottest private practice lawyers in the New Zealand market, according to a recent report.
The NZ Lawyer Magazine has published the results of its Hot List 2014, which takes the pulse of the industry and identifies the country’s top 38 trailblazing lawyers.
Anderson Lloyd Partners Jen Crawford and Sarah Simmers were two of the 38 lawyers, representing a quarter of the women on the list.
Christchurch Partner Jen Crawford was named as one of the eight ‘pillars of the community’ in recognition of her contribution to the $290 million restoration of the Arts Centre – believed to be the largest heritage project currently being undertaken in the world.
Partner in Anderson Lloyd’s Dunedin office, Sarah Simmers was named in the ‘Landmark Achievements’ category for being “another dealmaker whose career has gone from strength to strength on the back of some highly noteworthy deals”.
Sarah was the only Dunedin lawyer on the Hot List.
In 2013 Sarah acted for Combined Rural Traders Society on its merger with Farmlands Trading Society. It was one of the largest transactions in New Zealand that year, involving entities with combined historic revenues of $2 billion per annum and creating a nationwide co-op with 54,000 members.
