Dexter Hirst

Dexter is a senior solicitor in our Property and Private Client team and is based in our Queenstown office. He is a born and bred Queenstown local. He obtained his LLB degree from Otago University in 2018 and was admitted to the bar in Christchurch in 2020.

Prior to joining Anderson Lloyd in March 2023, Dexter worked as a solicitor for 3 years at another Queenstown law firm. His day-to-day work involves contract drafting and reviewing, transactional undertakings, conveyancing, and property disputes.

Dexter also has experience in a wide range of matters including property relationship agreements, estate management, and discovery. He has provided legal advice to clients in a variety of sectors, including tourism, construction, property development, and SMEs.

Dexter is a member of the New Zealand Law Society and will most likely be found at any of Queenstown’s ski resorts if he is not in the office.
