Clare is a Partner in our property team based out of our Auckland office. She specialises in property law with extensive experience in leasing (all aspects including retail, commercial and industrial), commercial property transactions (sales and acquisitions), development (development agreements, mixed use and large-scale developments) and subdivisions (including unit titles, staged subdivisions etc.). Clare has a breadth of experience working with the retail, commercial, office, industrial and residential property sectors.
Clare commenced her legal career in a boutique property/commercial firm in Auckland before heading overseas where she worked in Tokyo as a foreign legal associate for one of the largest Japanese law firms. She then moved to Melbourne and was there for over 7 years working for a national law firm and then one of the Australian ‘Big Six’. Prior to joining Anderson Lloyd, Clare worked for one of New Zealand’s leading large law firms based out of Auckland.
Clare graduated from the University of Auckland in 2006 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in History) and was admitted later that year.
