Sarah-Jane provides specialist advice in the data, privacy, information technology, intellectual property, charitable, contracts and tendering fields. She has industry expertise in the utilities sectors, including energy and telecommunications, in data usage, including protection and privacy obligations for business, and in local government and policy work. Sarah-Jane brings a wealth of experience, expertise and insight to her advice, to ensure clients’ interests are developed and protected in the best possible way.

A partner at Anderson Lloyd until 31 March 2012, Sarah-Jane continues to provide legal advice to selected clients while serving on a number of boards.  She was appointed to the Copyright Tribunal in 2014, the Financial Advisers Disciplinary Committee in 2020 and she chairs the Nelson Marlborough Branch of the Institute of Directors as well as being a member of their National Council.  She is the independent chair of  Nelson Marlborough Primary Health, a director of Nelson Development Agency and Network Tasman, Vice-Chair of the Rata Foundation. and a trustee of the Cawthron Institute Trust Board and the Care Foundation.

Sarah-Jane is based in Nelson, and became a Consultant in 2012.
