Sarah-Jane provides specialist advice in the information technology, intellectual property, charitable, contracts and tendering fields, as well as in general commercial work, including commercial entity structuring. She has industry expertise in the utilities sectors, including energy and telecommunications, in data usage, including protection and privacy obligations for business, and in local government and policy work. Sarah-Jane brings a wealth of experience, expertise and insight to her advice, to ensure clients’ interests are developed and protected in the best possible way.
A partner at Anderson Lloyd until 31 March 2012, Sarah-Jane made the decision to resign her partnership to pursue other interests, including governance roles and voluntary community roles. She now provides legal advice, on a consultancy basis, to selected clients.
Sarah-Jane was appointed to the Copyright Tribunal in 2014, the Nelson Standards Committee, and chairs the Nelson Marlborough Branch of the Institute of Directors. She is a Director at Network Tasman Limited and Nelmac Limited, and a trustee and Vice-Chair of the Rata foundation. During 2013, Sarah-Jane was invited to participate in the Institute of Directors ‘Mentoring for Diversity’ programme.
Sarah-Jane is based in Nelson, and became a Consultant in 2012.
