Anderson Lloyd’s move to The Regent as part of Christchurch’s ongoing revitalisation

20 Dec 23

We are pleased to announce our planned move in Ōtautahi Christchurch to a new office space on level 2 of The Regent, on the corner of Cathedral Square and Worcester Street.

Anderson Lloyd Board Chair, Kerry O’Donnell, says:

” We are excited to be moving to The Regent, which is being driven by the growth of our business and our team thanks to the trust placed in us by our valued clients, and we’re excited to continue serving them in our new home.”

“It is a significant step, symbolising growth, resilience, and our commitment to, and investment in the region.”

In partnership with Gaze Commercial, the new contemporary workspace is designed to create a modern and purposeful atmosphere where our people can thrive and deliver on our commitment to client excellence.

In alignment with our environmental responsibility commitments, The Regent incorporates energy-efficient and other sustainability features. For example, Cook Brothers, the base build main contractor, has a full-time sustainability carpenter who repurposes excess and demolition materials into items that can be reused within our communities.

The Regent is named in tribute to the Regent Theatre, originally known as the Royal Exchange Building, built on the site in 1904 and home to many businesses before it had to be demolished because of earthquake damage.
Construction is progressing on schedule, with the base build set for completion by February.

Our team were fortunate enough to be allowed a sneak peek and we can’t wait to move in around the middle of next year!
