NAIA Lunchbox Presentation – Dr Lily Fraser
The Anderson Lloyd team had the privilege of hearing from and sharing kai with special guest, Dr. Lily Fraser, at last month’s NAIA Lunchbox Presentation.
Lily is from Kāi Tahu, from one of the local Marae Puketeraki. Lily is the first graduate from Kura Kaupapa Māori to become a doctor and is currently the Clinical Director of Te Hā a Maru for Te Rūnaka o Moeraki and for Turuki Healthcare in Mangere Auckland.
Lily shared her fascinating story of being raised in Māori medium education Kura Kaupapa Māori and discussed the Meihana Model of Māori health looking at current drivers of health outcomes for Māori.
