Providing Pro Bono Legal Support to the Southern Cancer Society
We are proud to be partnering with the Southern Cancer Society as a supporting partner by providing pro bono legal support to assist them in their vital work across our communities.
For over 90 years, the Southern Cancer Society has been supporting New Zealanders affected by cancer. With 1 in 3 Kiwis diagnosed during their lifetime, their services are essential. These services include:
- One-on-one emotional and practical support for individuals and families
- Accommodation for those travelling for treatment
- Transport to and from medical appointments
- Access to counselling and peer support
- Advocacy for improved cancer outcomes
- Community education on prevention, early detection, and health literacy
- Investment in cancer research
