Rising Stars news
We are delighted to once again have Anderson Lloyd’s rising stars recognised by NZ Lawyer. Rosie Hill and Megan Pearce have both been recognised as Rising Stars within the legal profession in the NZ Lawyer Rising Stars 2023 Report. The report recognises the outstanding contributions of the best legal professionals in New Zealand in the early stages of their career. All Rising Stars are under 35 years of age.
Rosie Hill is a senior associate in the resource management team at Anderson Lloyd’s Queenstown office. She advises clients throughout the country on environmental and resource management-related matters. Rosie has a breadth of experience across all environmental, conservation and resource management areas. In particular, she has specialised skills in advising clients on residential subdivision and development projects, large-scale zoning proposals and freshwater law.
In addition to her growing legal practice, she was elected in 2019 for a three-year term as a trustee of the Central Lakes Trust, the largest philanthropic trust per capita in the southern hemisphere, with responsibilities in managing a diversified asset portfolio and granting funding to charitable organisations. Rosie is a skilled strategist, negotiator, advocate and highly valued member of the Queenstown community NZ Lawyer Rising Stars 2023
Megan Pearce is a senior associate in Anderson Lloyd’s corporate and commercial team, with specialist experience working across the full spectrum of technology, privacy and digital law matters, including IT procurement and digital transformation projects, and privacy and cybersecurity law. Since joining Anderson Lloyd in mid-2019, Megan has helped many public and private sector clients successfully navigate a range of regulatory and contractual matters applicable to the ever-evolving digital landscape.
