Imogen is a Senior Associate in Anderson Lloyd’s Environment and Planning team, based in Christchurch. She specialises in environment and planning law, and local government law.
She has been involved in some of NZ’s most complex freshwater litigation, appearing at Council-level hearings and in the Environment Court, High Court, and Court of Appeal. In addition to her freshwater expertise, Imogen has been involved in a number of district planning processes, including private plan changes, and spatial planning processes. Imogen also assists clients with all aspects of the resource consenting process, from preparation and lodgement through to decision and appeal.
In the local government sector, Imogen has acted for a number of local authorities across the country on issues relating to freshwater management, indigenous biodiversity, forestry, urban land use planning, as well as advising on the Local Government Act 2002 and the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
Imogen joined Anderson Lloyd in 2026, having previously worked at another leading law firm in Christchurch.
Imogen holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago and was admitted to the bar in 2015. She is a member of the Resource Management Law Association and The Law Association of New Zealand.
