Katie Verhaegh

Katie is a Senior Solicitor in Anderson Lloyd’s Property and Private Client team based in Queenstown. She advises on residential and rural property matters as well as wills, trusts and enduring powers of attorney. She also has experience in employment law and has supported clients across a broad range of sectors.

Katie began her career as a solicitor in Southland, working across property, private client and employment matters before relocating to London in 2023. She later joined a private equity firm as In-House Counsel, where she helped align governance across its sustainable infrastructure portfolio and oversaw statutory compliance and group governance processes.

She holds an LLB and a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Otago and was admitted in Invercargill in 2021. Katie joined Anderson Lloyd in December 2025.
