Annabel Hawkins

Annabel is a Senior Associate in Anderson Lloyd’s Resource Management team based in Christchurch. She specialises in environmental, planning and natural resources law, with particular experience across infrastructure and property development projects.

Annabel advises clients on all aspects of the consenting and planning process, from developing strategic approaches through to managing environmental disputes. She regularly works with expert consultants and provides advice on the interpretation and application of resource management and other related legislation.

Before joining Anderson Lloyd in 2025, Annabel worked at several major law firms in Auckland and Christchurch. She holds a LLB (Honours) and a BA from the University of Canterbury and was admitted to the bar in 2015. Annabel is a member of the Resource Management Law Association.
