Ben is an experienced commercial lawyer, with particular expertise in company, banking and insolvency, securities law and commercial transactions. Ben also regularly advises on insolvency and restructuring matters. He has worked in New Zealand and London and advised on a range of corporate and commercial law issues, including a number of high-profile projects and transactions.
Ben enjoys the cut and thrust of complex transactions, helping businesses and entrepreneurs to execute their plans and to prosper.
Ben provides timely and strategic commercial legal advice. He likes to understand the internal and external context in which his clients operate – the ‘big picture’ – and to tailor his advice accordingly.
He joined Anderson Lloyd in 2000 and is based in the Christchurch office.
Ben is a member of the Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association of New Zealand (RITANZ), the Banking and Financial Services Law Association, and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. Ben is also a director of the Lawlink Group.
Ben is recommended as a banking, finance and insolvency lawyer in the Legal 500 (Asia Pacific).
