Emily Murray

Emily Murray is a Senior Associate in Anderson Lloyd’s Corporate and Commercial team, based in the Auckland office. She has over 13 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law, with a strong focus on private mergers and acquisitions and renewable energy projects.

Emily has advised on a wide range of complex transactions, including share and asset sales, restructurings, joint ventures, and shareholders’ arrangements, as well as general commercial and energy‑related agreements. Her experience spans multiple jurisdictions, including senior roles at top‑tier law firms in New Zealand and South Africa.

She has advised clients across the energy, oil and gas, mining, banking, insurance, transport, telecommunications, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and tourism sectors.

Emily holds an LLB from Stellenbosch University and was admitted to the South African bar in 2014 and the New Zealand bar in Auckland in 2022.
