Rebecca is a Senior Solicitor in our Resource Management Team and is based out of our Dunedin office.
Prior to joining Anderson Lloyd she worked in public health policy for the New Zealand Ministry of Health and for the Mayor of London’s Office in the UK where she authored the Mayor of London’s first Health Inequalities Strategy. She has also worked in programme management in the tertiary education sector.
Rebecca began with Anderson Lloyd as a Summer Clerk in November 2019, progressing to Law Clerk at the end of her internship and then to Solicitor after being admitted to the bar in September 2020.
Rebecca originally studied at the University of Otago graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) majoring in History in 2000. She went on to study at the University of British Columbia were she earned her Masters in Geography in 2002. Rebecca then returned to the University of Otago where she graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2019.
Rebecca is a member of the Otago Women Lawyers’ Society, is the secretary of the Tomahawk Smaills Beachcare Trust, and volunteers as a coach at Kiwi Swim Club.
