Samantha is a Senior Associate in our Resource Management team and is based out of our Christchurch office. Samantha joined Anderson Lloyd in January 2022 having previously worked at a boutique environmental law firm and another large Christchurch law firm.
Her areas of expertise are resource management, local government and environmental law. Samantha is a pragmatic operator. She enjoys working with clients to understand their objectives and providing strategic advice to meet these. She has provided advice on a wide range of matters including plan processes, compliance, environmental prosecutions, consenting and due diligence investigations.
Samantha graduated from the University of Otago, with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Classics). She was admitted to the bar in Auckland in 2010.
She is a member of the Resource Management Law Association, Women’s Infrastructure Network and the Canterbury Women’s Legal Association.
