Gemma Steenhauer

Gemma joined Anderson Lloyd’s Corporate Commercial team in 2025 after completing her law degree at the University of Otago. She was admitted to the bar the same year and is based in the firm’s Dunedin office.

Her work spans a range of commercial matters, including preparing and reviewing contracts, assisting with corporate transactions, and supporting clients with general commercial advice. Prior to joining Anderson Lloyd, Gemma gained experience as a summer clerk at a Christchurch law firm.

Gemma is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, the Otago Women Lawyers’ Society and Dunedin Young Professionals. Outside of work, she enjoys climbing, snowboarding and spending time at the gym.
