Charlotte is a Partner in our Litigation Team with a national practice. She specialises in civil litigation and dispute resolution and has more than 15 years’ experience in practice.
Charlotte is an expert in contentious personal and corporate insolvency disputes, debt recovery, and security enforcement. She also advises clients in relation to disputes under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 and broader construction and infrastructure disputes.
Charlotte has extensive experience acting in disputes between directors and shareholders, disputes involving negligent valuations and commercial leasing, property related disputes, and trust, estate and equity related claims including claims under the Trustee Act and Family Protection Act.
She also has experience in insurance and professional indemnity claims, and has recently acted for clients in Commerce Commission investigations.
Charlotte has appeared in Court at all levels in New Zealand, including in the Supreme Court, and is also experienced in arbitration, mediation, adjudication and expert determinations.
Charlotte is a member of the Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association of New Zealand (RITANZ), Women in Restructuring and Insolvency (WIRI), the New Zealand Society of Construction Law, the Women’s Infrastructure Network New Zealand and the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
