Emma Wotherspoon is a Solicitor in Anderson Lloyd’s Litigation team, based in the Christchurch office. She advises private and commercial clients on a broad range of dispute resolution matters, including contract disputes, insolvency, debt recovery, contentious leasing and property issues, and regulatory investigations.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury. She began practising in 2023 following her admission to the High Court of New Zealand in Christchurch. Before joining Anderson Lloyd in 2026, Emma began her legal career in Auckland.
She is involved in several professional organisations, including Auckland Young Lawyers, the Auckland Women Lawyers’ Association, and Young AMINZ (the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand).
