Emma is a Partner at Anderson Lloyd’s Auckland office, where she specialises in Banking and Finance. With a wealth of experience, Emma has worked on numerous high-profile transactions across a range of sectors, including leveraged finance, corporate finance, project finance, and property and development finance.

In addition to her expertise in traditional finance areas, Emma has recently assisted clients in the emerging field of ETS / NZU financing. She has advised clients on a range of NZU financing arrangements, including NZU prepayment facilities.

Emma’s client base is diverse and includes global and domestic financial institutions, corporate borrowers, financial sponsors, and debt funds. She is well-regarded in the industry and has been recognized as a Rising Star in Banking and Finance by several editions of the Legal 500 (Asia-Pacific Edition – New Zealand) and IFLR1000.

Emma is a member of the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association’s Green and Sustainability Linked Loan New Zealand Working Group and the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand. Before joining Anderson Lloyd, Emma worked for a major international law firm in London for several years.
