Justine Bateman

Justine is a Legal Executive across Anderson Lloyd’s Property and Private Clients (PPC) team and Commercial Team , based in the Christchurch office. She joined the firm on 1 July 2025, bringing with her over three decades of legal experience.

Justine holds a New Zealand Legal Executive Diploma and is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives (NZILE) and is a member of the ADLS Property Law Section. She has built a broad and well-rounded legal career, having spent nearly 31 years with her previous firm.

Justine specialises in residential conveyancing, subdivisions, and commercial conveyancing. Her day-to-day work includes managing a wide range of property-related transactions, from buying and selling residential and commercial property to advising on subdivisions and business sales. She also has experience in Wills, Trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPOAs), and elder care matters.

She is also actively involved in her community through her volunteer work with Ronald McDonald House and is proud of her Ngāi Tahu heritage.
